This was his second match in his first varsity wrestling tournament. As a freshman, he was wrestling experienced and strong young men. He lost this match, but finished 6th out of 18 in his weight class. He and I were pleased with his effort and results. For those who have never witnessed a high school wrestling tournament, it is an experience like no other. The respect for your opponent, determination, emotion, and athletic ability are wonderful to see.

Excellent image and very brave rider. Observed trials (sp?) riders are a special small breed of crazies that keeps us mere mortals in awe.
