hi paul..thanks for your feedback. Shooting for a magazine, I tend to shoot leaving a lot of room to place copy and headlines, etc....but you are right, as a stand-alone image your crop really works.

great one. it could have been even better if you had shot this just a little earlier ..right after sunset so there was something in the sky..it would have added to the image.

amazing..i like this image..hard to describe the feeling when looking at it. cant imagine the feeling when looking at the original print.
the problem that i face most in digital is highlight detail. apparently the dynamic range of the higher res digital backs/slrs are wider...any thoughts?

hey.. i think i f'd it up in the jpeg conversion or in retouching. Cause I dont see anything on the edge of the cloth on the original hi res file! I remember having stretched and clipped the black velevet..full nrupen style attention to detail!
