Good light combined with a perfect reflection. A beauty for sure. I like the central composition as it brings out the symmetry of the scene very well. Great shot.

What a great expression you have captured. You timed this perfectly. Technically flawless too, with good tonal range and sharpness. Good title too. Well-done!

Stunning image! What an amazing place! I think this is a good place to try something the great Galen Rowell has done; silhouette a hiker or two in there, which would add a scale and a sense of place. Still, a technically perfect image of a wonderful place.

The EF 24mm f/2.8 is by far by favorite lens. I use it in over half of my shots.

Nice! The moon is perfectly placed, which is especially difficult considering it's a double exposure. Both exposures were right on. Beautiful colours and good composition. This makes me miss Vancouver. Well-done.

Nice aerial shot. The composition is great, taking the eye from the lower left of the frame to the top left, giving very good flow. The lighting and colors are wonderful too. But maybe the details are a little soft. I guess that came from the plane moving. Still, a good photo.

A wonderful shot! Great composition, good light, and moody. I really like how you used the dominant tree on the right to anchor the foreground, and having the layering of the trees disappearing into obscurity. It really draws the viewers into the frame. The fog and the soft lighting is perfect for the emotion of the picture, giving a real sense of being in the forest. My only nitpick is the mildly distracting half-of-a-tree on the left edge of the frame. I'd crop a sliver off to improve the composition. A very nice shot.

A wonderful idea perfectly executed. The colors are just delicious. Was there a little bit of panning? Or was it just the water moving? Either way, a wonderful shot.

Kelly, Gianluca is right. This falls is located in the Havasupai Indian Reservation near Grand Canyon. It's a out and back hike 20 miles in total. But it's worth the effort.
Derek, thanks for pointing out the softness. The wind was blowing and the foliage was moving a bit in this 1/2s exposure. This is the sharpest shot of a bunch that I took.

I really like the mood of this image and the nice range of tones. The composition works well to draw the viewers into the picture while the person is well-placed at a (near) third to anchor the foreground. I find the brightness of the pedestrian crossing line at the bottom of the frame mildly distracting. I think it can be cropped without affecting the composition. Nice shot.

Excellent moody shot. The monochromaticism really worked well here to elicit serenity. The composition is well-balanced and the exposure is good. The reflection lines up pretty well so I think the shot is level. The horizon might be bent due to lens distortion or an uneven shoreline. If you are shooting 6x7, I am sure you used a bubble level. Great shot!

Technically excellent are all your shots. And this shot is especially well-done considering the difficult exposure situation. The colour gradient in the sky complements the reddish dunes very well. My only nit is that the tree merged with the ground somewhat. I'd prefer if the camera was a little lower so that the tree extends into the sky to make a better silhouette. Still, a great shot.

I agree with Marc on the different directions of the wakes. But I would've much preferred it if the other boat was also included to create two diagonal focal points to lead the eyes into the light. The sparkle off the water is wonderful, as is the general colouring of the shot. The horizon is half a bubble off level, which can be corrected digitally or prevented with the use of a bubble level in the field.

Cool icicles! The sharpness is good and the composition is okay. But I do find the contrast a little harsh. There seems to be little or no detail in the highlights. There seems to be more detail in the shadow areas that might have been rescuable with careful dodging. I really like the monochromatic feel of this shot. But the red/green border diminishes that somewhat.

The lighting and weather conditions were certainly very dramatic. The exposure is good and the composition works fairly well. But the plane of focus seems to be neither on the tree silhouettes nor the mountains. I don't know about the AF performance of this camera/lens combination but it might have been worthwhile to manually focus then preview the DOF or use the hyperfocal distance.

Wonderful tones and great composition. Sharpness is very good too. I think this would be a fun shot to play with a little more in photoshop. I suggest adding some diffuse glow via a transparent layer with the maximum filter.

Cool fisheye effect. The light is good and the snow really makes the image. I find the polarizer gradient in the sky mildly distracting though. Also, to make a more balanced composition, I suggest either giving the tree a little more space on either side, or cropping the top down to match the tight crop on the sides.

Great reflection and good exposure. I really like that bit of red. It really stands out to give the eyes a focal point to rest on. Centring the horizon works to emphasize the symmetry of the shot. The eyes are taken into the shot nicely through the lines that come from the left corners. My only nitpick is that the vertical line of the tree on the right blocks the flow of the image a bit. I don't have a good suggestion on how to avoid it since I don't know what other options you had. But it would have been great to try a few other compositions.

Wonderful pastel colours and great mood. The light is perfect and the fog is of course a bonus. The composition is well chosen to emphasize the symmetry of the reflection and the tree is well-placed. I don't see any tilt at all; the tree and its reflection line up perfectly. If the line where the water meets the bridge is not straight, it could be because the bridge is not straight to begin with or an artifact of lens distortion. Anyway, I hope you used a tripod and a bubble level for this.

Good light and nice clouds. I think centring the light house works well for this composition. The bit of sand and the trees frame the shot well. But, I think a slight crop from the top can give the composition a little more balance.

Eye-catching primary colours. The use of a person does provide a sense of achievement, as well as establish a scale. The placement is also well-chosen. I'd prefer to see him walking up the hill though, instead the present pose. The image quality seems a little low. There might have been better texture in the sand on the film that was lost through the digitization.
