Once again, giving a short look at the recent pictures, your catch my eyes. Where does come from your smart and sharp eye ? Just a low POV and a semi framing, and it makes all the difference. I would like to know why you choosed noise, and if you added it on post-process. On my mind, it adds some mistery and softness to the picture, in harmony with this gallery of remembrance. Sorry for my english.

hello Avi, This is exactly the kind of picture fascinating me... Big structure, crane, man at work, silhouette and huge sky. I appreciate the backlight well drawned, but sufficiently nuanced to see all the details of the scene. I'm less convinced by the green tint. Was it the pollution so intense ? or a choice of you ? or my screen, maybe !! Nevertheless, I like very much.

Hello Wim. Mystery solved... you are belge, not dutch ! This is of course a fabulous portrait. Each pore, each wrincke, each hair is clearly disctinct. The result is a great clearness, but also a lot of softness, given by the gesture and the half-smile. Superb.

Of course it is ! We don't need the title. Easy to see... when the picture is made, so : in your own eyes ... but only a real photographer can see that in the folds of a cloth. Magistral

Hugo ! I'm just unpacking my bags from a long stay in Paris, trying to learn more about night pictures... And, yes, a nice message from you.. plus, plus some pictures of you from .. Paris by night. Ah ah, Europe is so little. I need time to watch more carefully at your work. But right now, I'm mainly very happy to see sign of life from you.
Beaubourg, object of hate and love for french people as me. Even after these long years, I'm not able to be sure about my own feelings : The stairs look as a living worm. They are trying to eat the old Paris, here visible with the old lamp post, but, after all these years, who eats who ?

I don't understand why this picture was so few seen. Maybe because the strange atmosphere is really visible only after enlarge. In my opinion, the composition is a bit messy, but it is not a problem for me : with this compo, the picture looks as taken in the emergency, just in front of the wave. I really like the way you have catched the 3 different grounds - the bright puddle, the fuzzy rain, then the discret but scary scene of tilted boats. The sky seems, for me, too much post-processed, but maybe it is natural, and in any case, it was necessary to have a structured sky above this confused and obscure but impressive scene. Great.

This baby, rolling on himself, as discovering the first pleasure of the move and the play with an hesitating smile, and this thoughtful hand behind... that's great. The POV and angle are calculated to give us the feeling to be with him, at his level, and his emerging world. Great warm colors too. I like it very much
