Thanks for the comment Art. I have only posted the one shot of Peggy's Cove. You may be thinking of Dave Stacey's shots of the Cove.
All the best from Gulf Shore Alabama.

Great shot Dave. I also visited Peggy's Cove recently. Your shot of the lighthouse is much better than mine. It's a busy place with all the tour buses. I'll post a shot of the cove shortly.

Congrats on the awards. Great shot. Excellent composition with beautiful reflections and great light. The guard gave you some good advise. The areas around power dam spillways are very dangerous. In 2002, a mother and her child were drowned while swimming at a Calabogie-area dam an hour west of Ottawa. I believe as a result of the ensuing court case Ontario Power Generation has now improved fencing, signing and installed alarms at their dams. I'm surprised that similar precautions have been implemented in Quebec. Joe

Great looking young lady. You've done an excellent job of capturing the child's character and reaction to the visit to the wildlife park. I also like your shot of the twins. The camera is an amazing tool to document the great days like this. I share Shadi's feeling regarding the use of sepia for this image. Please do your own thing and don't worry about the going with the flow. I believe sepia and B&W is over used on this site and that may images would be better if the artist used colour. Occasionally, I will convert an image to monotone if I feel that an image would benefit dramatically or thematically such as my Mexican Goat Herder image I recently posted. Regards, Joe

I believe these were imported to Canada in the '50s as the Isetta. Great little cars. It has one door which is the front of the car which swings open to allow access. Very nicely captured. Joe
