Tanaka-san,
You are right, it was handheld. I was not planning on doing any serious photography that night, however, I found myself in that spot and thought I should at least try to get a photo. I was resting the camera against a railing. So, I agree, it could be better. I will try with a Tripod next time, thank you for your comments!
Regards
Lucas

Thank you for your kind comments. To answer your question, those white lines are paths that people take to climb the mountain. You can see the zig-zag patterns from them.

Dietmar,
Wow, very nice image. I really like how this picture leads the eyes. Entry at the top left, and exit at the lower right (at least for me).

Andre,
Beautiful photo. I have also been to this spot to take pictures. I think the lighting was just perfect, and the way the clouds are arranged adds to the photo very much. This image makes me want to go back to the U.S. (I live in Japan).

~Lucas

Olga,
I do not like cats, but still a nice image. It seems like you caught the cat in an act of crime haha. Nice pic.

Thank you very much. If you look at another image of mine: http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=137598 , it is a picture of the airport in Oshkosh,Wisconsin...home of the largest airshow in the world every year. I DID take this picture while flying, but it was safe don't worry...

Wow. What a stunning image. The image portrays power to me. Spectacular elements of nature here. Also, great contrast with the dark tones of the rocks/water and the sunlight.

I really like the contrast with the bright lights against the black night sky. Also, the image makes me feel like I'm almost there, which is great. Nice shot.

Beautiful image. Very peaceful. I can almost smell the oranges I think. Very good capture. I like how the groves bring the viewer's eye in on the upper left corner of the frame and leads the viewer through to the bottom right and exits. Good use of patterns/lines.

Very mystical. Though it looks murky, it also seems somewhat peaceful as well. Very moody scene.

Interesting concept. Reminds me of the "Yes" song called "Your Move." I guess the white king's time was up. Fun image.

Awesome photo. I love all of the elements combined into one. The birds in the sky, the buildings, the people. It's a very well balanced composition, showing how everything is related. Awesome concept.

Shyam,
Yea, it's good to hear from you again, I hope all is well with you. I haven't had much time to really explore or improve on photography much...so hopefully when I get some free time I can just go out and explore to get new ideas.

Thanks for the comment. Actually...those aren't stars..those are the strobe lights on the T-6. But yea..I don't like the soft moon like you say, but I still thought the rest of it looked pretty cool.

I really like the lighting and shadows. The sphere looks almost as if it's floating. Good mood.

Richard,
Hello, Thanks for the comment. I was walking outside by my garage when I saw him crawling on the storm drain. So I quick ran inside and got my camera. Luckily he was still there, so I took a few pictures of him. This guy, however, http://www.usefilm.com/image/481573.html I found inside and snapped a few pics of him. Thanks for the interest.

Joanna,
It seems a bit out of focus/blurry. Good subject, though. I would maybe try shooting those objects from different angles. Maybe try standing directly underneath and shooting up at the face or something like that? Just a suggestion. :-)

Paul,
This is a beautiful capture. Very crisp. This makes me want to see this location very much. I love how the stret takes me into the picture. You have elements of street photography as well as architecture with a beautiful nature backdrop. Wonderful capture.

Len,
Great capture of history. You know...I'm actually in training right now to be a U.S. Air Force pilot...Spitfire was a great British plane. It's amazing somebody has one of these old posters up, great capture.

I like this very much...well I like all cityscapes in general. Very good point though...this is the center of every city..or at least the downtown area. Great capture of history.

Ron,
I love your description. It does look like a great escape from a day full of stress. I love the photo..the colors are great. Some might argue that the shutter was open a little too long, but I like the effect/looks myself. Great work.

Luke

This photo reminds me of the album cover to the album "Test for Echo" by the Canadian band 'Rush' (who I love!).

Very nice picture, I think you captured the "spirit" of this site quite nicely.

Amazing capture. I really like this building in Milwaukee. The capture of the building goes great with the clouds in the sky. Great shot.
