Thanks Stan - they always put the old woodstove far away fro the chimney to run lots of stove pipe and recover some of the heat off of them. Today the maximum length of the stove pipe here is 10 feet!

thank you Larysa - This photo was taken in a village that is set up to look like the 1860's. The people that work there are all dressed back in that time even the children. I've attached another photo showing the children at lunch time.

Nicely captured Arthur - I have been watching this osprey on our lake for the past two years and only a few weeks ago did I finally get a photo of her with a fish in her claws!
