Hey Chris,

Good to see your still around! No I have not completely gone digital as I still shoot a lot of film, mostly medium and large format but I have started playing with the devil.

Sue, your exposure of the mountain is fine but your losing too much detail in the foreground. A split ND filter would have helped here or an HDR.

This one works good for me, I would burn down the sky a little to give the clouds a bit more detain and print this big.

Hi Chris, good to see you posting again. I like the image but I this you slightly missed the mark here. I am finding the round stone and the footprint as the focal point and would would good together.

Keep up the good work and good to see you back.

Very nice image here, I like the framing you got of the two buildings.

Chad you had asked me about the group of Chicago area photogs that got together, well unfortunately most have left the site or moved away. I am sure there are other Chicago area photogs on there that might want to have a outing so why not post something in the forum and see what happens. If the timing is right I might be able to make it.

Lighting is good as is the pose but the overall image is soft. Possibily in post processing?

Hi Chris, its good to see you posting again, I perfer the b&w version as it helpes to pull the detail out of the rocks which in my mind are the focus of the shot.

Nice shot but why did you focus on the sholder and not her eyes? The eyes are very soft.

Nice lighting and pose but it's a bit soft. It looks as if the focus point is on her shoulder and not her eyes.
