Thanks Omar. It is a piece of steel wire that I have bent and twirl around. It is lit by a spotlight to the left. /mattias

I was cooking, and snapped a shot of some corn roux (i.e. corn flour mixed in some water) that I just had stirred together. I'm trying to improve my food photography skills. It's not as easy as I thought it would be to take appetizing photos... :)
Thanks for the comment! Mattias

Dreamy. The color scheme is great, as is the composition. I especially like the sweeping line that the dark shadow in the bottom of the photo makes. Regards, Mattias

I see that you have experimented a lot with this, while my shot was more or less an accident.
I used the image stabilizer on this one, have you experimented with/without that to?
If more will come, nobody knows..

quite good. The wall is in itself rather intersting. I really like how the man has been captured. His body is positioned like he is standing still, bu that is obviously not the case.

You really caught my eye with this portrait. If you want some critique the only thing I can think of is that the fingers on her right hand looks a bit strange against the black under her chin.

Some improvement suggestions... You should have been more careful not to crop the left foot. I also think that maybe the perspective might have improved if you crouched down a bit, this would have put more focus on the jump. The light in the studio seems to be great, is there a window in the back? I would like to see some of that light fall on the model, not only on her hand, but maybe on her hair. my2c, Mattias

Your photos really captures my interest and leaves me wanting to know the story behind them. You have an eye for portraits that I hope one day to develop. Maybe you have croped this one to hard on top, but on the other hand, you seem to know what you are doing so.. /Mattias

Great capture. I think that if you could see the girls face it would be stronger. I also notice that the lines in the ground leads your eyes to the upper left, where there is nothing to see. Maybe this would be less of a problem if the dof was shorter so that the far end of the street was less sharp.
I like that the street is very clean. It does not look like a street that should be that clean. And still there is one piece of trash in the lower right that contrasts well against the otherwise clean street. My2c, Mattias

This is great. The natural light and the short dof of the lens works great in this shot, aswell as the expression of the child and the mother? in the background. The lamp or shelf on the wall are for some reasone not that distracting as it could be (probably because of the short dof..)
I do think that the hand that steadies the babie maybe takes the shot down a notch though..

Hi Andras You have an 'unusual' crop on this portrait that I think works well. However, I think you need to have a focus somewhere. I suppose you are trying to have the hand/ring in focus, but I think it is not..

Man what a shot! This really gives me water on my mill as an old swedish saing goes. I am planing on buying a good tele lens in the near future, and my motivation for that (both to myself and for friends) is that I intend to go out and shoot (with my camera not a gun) birds, in the summertime. The bad thing is that the birds in swedish woods really are more or less boring, with dull colors that blend in to the trees, Nothing like this fellow. Many regards, Mattias
