thanks! This scan doesn't really do it justice. I have a big 11x14 print of this in my home that looks much better.

I like the colors. The red and green contrast well.

Thank you for the input. I have other shots with the full horse, but I guess I have a tendancy to go for the really tight shots (perhaps overly so). Thanks!

I like the look you captured in the cat's face. It seems a bit too light though. Also, the plant that shoots right out of the cats head is a little distracting. I do really like the green plant in front of the cat though...it adds a strange sense of color to the whole image. Nice!

I loce it... I really like the halo effect going on with the lighting...You captured so much detail from the wrinkles to the hairs on their chin! I like the dead on angle, it makes the whole thing so strange and interesting (to me, at least).

beautiful image. I wish it were darker though. I can see how having it this light adds to the mood, but I think it might be just a touch too light... I really love the fog around the trees though...it makes the whole thing look like a watercolor or something.

I think it is the expression of the subject that got my attention. Sort of shy and awkward, but it also seems to be light-hearted and genuine. The background in focus also appeals to me, especailly the boxes to the right. Good job!

beautiful image. It seems as if the person standing is the only one in the city...

oh my gosh...I'm sitting here at my desk at work and I have a very similar diptych pinned to the wall! Mine is in color and of my good old dixie though... I enjoy the tones of these two photos (yours, I mean)...they seem so peaceful and relaxed. Here is a bad scan of one of the images I am talking about (I have no good scan here on my work computer)

Yeah, I had to snap this one pretty quickly, as my dog is hyperactive and never stands still--he likes to try and eat the camera! I wish I had captured the ears too...

Ana, you must not have ever met my cat then! He's a little beast alright...he's partly feral (we adopted him after he had been rescued as a little gy from a feral cat colony) and he's a psycho kitty! I love the little guy, but he's a killer. All the small creatures around my house have perished...he even attacks my (unmoving) arm when I'm sitting and reading a book just to show his love!

I like the starkness of this photo, but I'd also like to see it with a bit more contrast to see if that might enhace the bleakness...

Yeah, those dust specs are bugging me too...I can (and will) clean them up in Photoshop when I have time...good thing they aren't on the negative though...thanks for the comments!

I like this. I knew a girl who also collected photobooth portraits (she collaged all of them into a book/journal). I always love the result of these when people get creative. I used to work at a little tourist photo studio at a Boardwalk where I had to take care of all these machines...it was always fun to play with them.

nice reflection. It's very crisp, considering that you had no tripod! I like the lines at the top created by the architecture...

Nice capture of expression, but I feel that the overall image is lacking contrast. Maybe if it were reprinted with a filter, it would appear a little stronger...

That's great! It's like an impression of a dog, rather than the an actual dog...I love it.

Really nice expression... I like the smile a lot. I also like the way you put the hands in the frame...very nice. It could be a bit darker around the face and hands to bring out a bit more detail, in my opinion. Have you tried printing it a bit darker? I'd love to see...Good job.

red dog + green grass = very nice use of color. I have a big red doxie named Dodger but he is so old that he has turned mostly white! I really like the way you left green all around the dog so that it becomes a frame of color...

oh how cute! The focus feels a bit too soft...I like the idea of the focus being soft, because it does add to the dreamy feeling, but I wish I could make out a little more detail on the dogs... I love the peaceful nature of the photo though...and I have a soft spot for these dogs because the remind me of mine (round and sleeping)! Good work.

I think I like the light in the back...it makes the image seem dreamy...it could be a bit darker so as not to be so overwhelming, but I enjoy the photo either way.
