I like the sharpness and the expression, the blue part at the bottom takes away from the enviroment looking natural but not sure how it could have been avoided.

Nice subject, but I think is too centered. Also since you are using a 28 mm lens a wide angle effect (close tilted subject with the horizon placed high etc...) would have dramatically improved it IMO.

Nice scene. I have noticed that in the upper part of aligators, the reflexion is hard to control, I am not sure if a polarizer will improve this issue. I have shot crocks in the everglades and have noticed that before. I am attaching a sample to make myself understand, I hope you don't mind.
