wow!! what an image... love the colors and the entire composition. for me personally.it wasnt the tracks more than teh backdrop of the sky behind with the overhead power lines&the color which nailed it...can you tell me what exactly you did in PS... just trying to understand what the film accomplished. even i think im going to try get a hold of porta 160NC :-)

in mumbai you get everything bacha..ilford is quite common actually..and part of the grain is bad scan... and PS also i think

nice pic himadri... i like this one also because of the subdued color schemes...and the whole interplay with water and air, space and mass, shimmering water adn matt sky (the glare couldve been avoided) and the seemingly 50-50 balance between them...dont agree with you on the 'no horizon' part!! :-)

from one amateur to another... shoot a lot more frames for the same subject...from diff perspectives...what i do like about this image is the whole almost bnw feel to it...its so startk and devoid of color that a color image actually seems almost bnw...well muted color anyways..

halos... hmmm i actually dont know what to say about this image..it seems thoda lazy to me.. its out of focussed..composition is a little off for me...and it seems like not too much thought has gone behind it... but then this is what i think and im not the authority on photography...but this image didnt scream out at me..doesnt hold my attention...
