There are looooooooots of good photographers around here. We all agree. Some bad too... Some use only the soul and few knowlegde to achieve the results they can... Others use only thecnical asepects on their photos... Other guys, like you, put this two aspects toghether and achive the best... Everyone knows Paco de Lucia, the GREAT spanish guitar player. I think he once said something like "I need technical knowledge so then I can forget about it!" In my bad english this means he needs to rule all technical issues in guitar playing, so he can forget them (technical issues) and let his soul rule his performance, without being worried about technical issues... This is perfection... Technically perfect BUT not only! Technique is used to express feelings and is not a goal itself... Maybe you don't understand this (due to my bad english speech...) but try! This is what I think of most of your photos. I think I made my point about this photo.
)) See ya!

A BIP... is a BIP! ;-) This is really agressive like Hugo says... The contrasts, the way the "opposite" sides, upper and lower, complement each other... The clear sky! (my sony can't achieve this blue without tons of magenta grain...) Congrats for the BIP!

Hi Bradley... To be honest, I don't have the knoledge to advice you on this one... But I do have the clear sensation that this is a great photo... It is spontaneous, there is comunication between all the elements... And there is beauty, lot of it!, reveasled by the tones, the short DOF, the croping... This absolutly beautiful!

It is not a matter of approval... Of course I approve! That is a matter of option! If, when I take a shot, things don?t go so well as I wanted them to be, after, in PS, I try to do some corrections... In the next trial, all I have to do is try a better shot, after a critical analisys of my first, second..., one... This one, in special, doesn?t need many changes... The sky is too white but... Oh well... The one I changed a little, Enduro I, is too dark and lacks a little color... Next time try to correct that when shooting! That stuff of "no PS changes" is for guys that are (very) good photographers and know exactly what to do to achieve the photo they want, when they are shooting... That's not me! heheheh And this is my way...

É a que eu mais gosto. A abertura de diafragma permitiu-te uma focagem boa e a velocidade o arrastamento necessário para compor o ramalhete final... (twens a certeza que foi mesmo 1/125?) Me gusta!

heheheh... Same photographer, different stuff!... From pure emotions to simplicity in shapes, lines and colors (tones)... Great... I like a lot these minimal approaches to everyday objects... this think these photos are good to enhance other ways of looking around the world... (do you know Gerhard Hoogterp portfolio?) I mean... I never saw beauty in these sharpening pencil stuff... You did... Thanks for teaching! The only thing I would change is that I would have moved the camera a little to the letf, showing a little bit more of the pencil... Maybe... Anyway this is great!

Hi Mohamed! I like this concept, a lot... But to be honest I think that your camera (just like mine!, LOL) is not so good when intense dark blues arrive... Too much magenta... Anyway, what matters here is the (good) composition and the (good) visual sensation the photo brings!
