I'm partial to warm light and wispy fog over water, much less waterfowl ... this is a beautiful rendition, nicely done!

Benedetto, it wouldn't matter which image in your portfolio I picked, they are all equally beautiful. I love the deep, low-key artistic style of your images and all the compositions and subjects are perfect. I can't wait for more!

I personally love misty-mountain mornings, so I had to give a big thumbs up on this image. The zig-zag valley filled with mist leads me thru the scene; the incredible deep green tones are in wonderful contrast with the mist, great tonal range.

A stunning image! After I clicked the thumbnail I was struck with the overall impact of contrasting color and 3D depth of image ... the almost dizzing array of fruit hanging in space. The branch in the foreground does lead the eye, but I find the subtle line of tree trunks behind it even more provacative, sucking me into the deep grove, then the individual fruits in the foreground pulls me back out. Reminds me of that zooming video effect; when the subject stays static, but the background is zoomed in ... often overdone and gimmicky in teenage horror films, but when done well has great effect. Roger you made it work in 2D, nicely done!!! I know, a wierd critique, but that's my take.

Thanks to all, I appreciate your taking time to view and leave commments.
Roger ... the Sigma does exhibit some fall off on a 35mm film body, but with the cropped Canon 10D sensor, the light fall off is pretty much cut out of the image, I'm really working with a 22mm equivalent. The quality control on the Sigma is apparently all over the place; I lucked out and got one that rivals Canon L glass quality first off ... others have had to return the lens up to three times to get a good one, worth the effort though, IMHO.

Good job with lighting on a subject with very wide dynamic range, and excellent scan. I like this shot a lot!

Nice composition Ken, great lighting and tone in B&W ... really suits the subject. I would adjust the frame a bit, even out dimensions of matte on top and sides with a bit heavier on the bottom, just a suggestion, although it does sort of add to the wide aspect ratio of the photo as it is.

I love architecture ... esp. details like doors, windows, stairs. The sepia tone lends an appropriate aged look to an excellent composition. Very nice Tomo!

Tomo, of all your excellent portraits, this one jumped out from the thumbnails as one to look at close up. I don't need to know "what" he's doing, his face says it all, at least to me, he' been in pain a long time. Lots of frowning and grimacing lines in his forhead and eyes.
