Hello stranger!
You might be right about the DOF, although I can't decide if it might be just the low-res upload combined with the haze... Just using a wee point-and-shoot so hard to control these things

Thanks for the comment Chris, although it's not England (and it's not sunrise either)!

Thanks Jim! I have to admit I wasn't fully appreciating it at the time of taking the photo, being filled with a sense of mild terror at the prospect of walking/scrambling along the ridge and over its many rock pinnacles!

Well seen! Your next challenge is to find an "AK" out there somewhere...

I'll just have to post some of my other shots from here to see what you think! I could never contemplate reversing a landscape (or probably any other) image though; which is a whole debate in itself!...

Yeah - I guess what is really needed to get a decent panorama here is to get down on the shore and have some foreground interest with rocks etc. I was supposed to be working when I took this though, so will have to return in my free time! I did take some other more close-up shots including buildings etc in the foreground, which are probably more pleasing as images; I might post some at some point. Just felt like playing with the stitching software tonight!...

It's been a while since I've found time for 'photography', as opposed to just taking pictures in nice landscapes I happen to be in anyway. I'll hopefully have a productive summer!

Do you think it would still look balanced if the foreground were cropped? E.g. like this... or did you have something more extreme in mind?

Great mood!! Love the blur and the dream-like feel it creates. Tones are also lovely. Really not keen on the border effect though...
Regards, Phil.

Hi Tim, I did go a bit quiet for a while with being busy at work, morving house etc, but I'm out of hibernation now and will try to keep posting!
