Nicely done Andre. The colour alone makes this a striking shot.

Thanks Marina. This is my pet dwarf named Bun-Bun. He is litter trained and roams the house like a cat. He loves lying in front of the fireplace, sunning in a window, or sleeping on my lap while I watch television. A very special little guy.

Hi Andre. Who would have thought I would be more busy in retirement than when I worked. I am going to try to become a regular again by summer, Who knows if I can find the time. Yes those old abandoned structures are hard to resist. Whether rendered in colour or bw, the lines and the textures make for a fine photograph. Or maybe it is just because it is part of our heritage, that we are attracted to them. Either way, keep shooting and don't forget the first F1 race is this weekend!

Wow, that's wonderful. I know what you mean about the weathered look. Be it wood, or stone the effective use of texture can be a powerful tool in the photographer's arsenal.

Wonderful, simply breath-taking. If this will become the basis for one of your paintings, I am sure it will be a winner.

Always loved your sense of immediacy. "Soft" with your use of BW minimalism and soft focus, creates a far more sensual mood than the over-sharp, juiced colour offerings of many digital photographers.

Wow, you have been working on your style. Great colour, almost Impressionistic in feel. I'll have to try to get back into this usefilm thing ....... it seemed so easy when I was shooting film, should be easier now!!

Thanks Rebecca, so good to hear from you again. I have been so busy, no time to do the usefilm thing for quite a while. If I had known retirement was this time consuming, I would never have quit working. Shooting the Ontario Para-Olympics this weekend. Hope all is well with you.
