Look I take your word for it re the pixelations. To my eyes there seemed to be "digital noise" on the long roof, but perhaps shadow detail, that sort of disappears on the larger exposures.
Is developing these yourself in the plan?
Agreed this shows off the curving roof better than the others

Oh that is beautiful Roger. The idea of a "sweeping hoax" by the senior accountants SO interesting!
I never was a clerk, but sometimes saw management in hospitals moved aside to their own limbos. If ineffective but still on contract they were put in "The Project Group" utilizing their lack of insight into human response to fail to establish whatever the latest government initiative was.
Have you seen "Man On Wire" yet, beautiful doco about the guy who did the tight rope walk between the twin towers. It has fabulous footage of him doing the Sydney Harbour Bridge in 73. May bring back memories. No one except his team knew then that that stunt was just stage one of the plan to walk the twin towers (which hadn't even been built yet).

Hmm, reminded of this bruised sky.
"She sprang to her feet, poured his coffee into an enamel cup, gave him bread and a knife, then, taking a wash page 166 rag from the sink, smeared over the black linoleumed table.

“Swine of a day—swine's life,” mumbled the Man, sitting by the table and staring out of the window at the bruised sky, which seemed to bulge heavily over the dull land. He stuffed his mouth with bread and then swilled it down with the coffee.

The Child drew a pail of water, turned up her sleeves, frowning the while at her arms, as if to scold them for being so thin, so much like little, stunted twigs, and began to mop over the floor.

“Stop sousing about the water while I'm here,” grumbled the Man. “Stop the baby snivelling; it's been going on like that all night.”

The Child gathered the baby into her lap and sat rocking him."

quite enchanting. the life less delicate than it seems set against that leached looking bedrock there. Really lovely ecology to it.

Just back from a holiday so scuse the delay.
You'd be welcome to stay with us if you came over, I'd be thrilled! We've a double room.
I wouldn't put Dunedin in the top 10 essential kiwi experiences tourist wise, but it may be a useful spot to kill time waiting for perfect weather to see something else, like Mt Cook or Milford Sound, which I'd stick in ther top 5, or I could rendezvous with ya there.
Lemmy know.
