Hi! John. Nice shot! My kind of photography! Thanks for your comments on my 'Sundown'. Read your 'profile' and we've a lot in common, including being a self employed carpenter! Recently bought the 50D and was extremely unhappy with it! I felt all my images had a soft focus feel to them. Even sent it back! It was returned to me with no faults reported. So I set about trying to tame the 'beast', and discovered that it was really only bad technique on my behalf! Would'nt swap it for the world now! The extra megapixels gives great latitude for cropping. Keep up the good work, John! kind regards......Jim

Hi Carl! Fantastic shot! Great foreground interest. Did you put the leaf there?? On a different topic altogether, I recently saw a great shot of yours on UF, and as I was trying to post a comment the shot was withdrawn from the site??? It was of a number of boats taken at low tide in a small cove/harbour. I thought it was a real prizewinner, but then it was gone! I've been watching out for it since! Any details???
