what makes this a good image are the restricted tones and the dof.
what makes this a great image are the expressions on the boys faces!

This is a very straightforward image - but wonderful in its simplicity. The contrast between the small and the large works well and is reinforced by the difference in color and style. It draws me in and makes me think, why are there two doors, one so large and one so small. There is no real sense of scale. Is the large door really a garage? It looks old, is it for carriages, horses? But the styles are different, the workmanship. And then I notice the stone heads above the doors. I suppose what I'm getting at is that you've managed to capture my attention with this photograph for a good long moment. It is well exposed, in sharp focus - it is ideal. All I ask for now is a caption. Great image.

Excellent image. You did a wonderful job composing the scene - positioning the flowers, in the light, beneath the tree in shadow with the fileds behind. This is beautiful .

Although a teensy contrasty, this is great, and you've got the rich greens to thank! Well executed.

I like the juxtaposition of the sheep and the street - excellent contrasting elements. The head of the sheep almost reflects the presence car.

Interesting shot, I can't say that I have ever seen a photograph like this. Very original and beautiful. Great contrast between a 'moving' background and static log. congrats!
