Hi buddy,
Thanks for the credits, congrats on the award!...just love what you have done with this photo. Looks like you are at the end of the Vermilion lake road for this shot. This is better then i have ever gotten from this spot by far...Exceellllllent! I am just off to Africa for 5-6 weeks...hope to get some good stuff over there.

not to much i can do about the crane...seems like it will likely be there another 50 years, they have been working on it for 125 years so far....i could still be around in 50 yrs, but kinda doubt it...lol

Hi Roger,
It is a steel hull built in 1936 for Hitler...The His state room in the stern is kept the same as when he used it...a little weird to be in there...the stateroom i mean. The ship was confiscated at the end of WWII by USA. It is now owned by the US Coast Guard for training Cadets.

well it isn't boring, in fact it is dynamic with all the planes and surfaces going into the distance. With the focus on the individual drawing my eye into the image. I like it very much. Yes, more traditional in composition then i have seen from you, but very sophisticated in that genre.

what I dod is take 2-3 shots in quick succession all at once and usually the first is blurry and maybe the other two are good. the first one moves from the finger action and then the second one is more smooth....

looks interesting...needs to be a bit bigger so we can see it better..also maybe sharpen it a bit once you resized it for uploading. The resizing tends to degrade the image somewhat and sharping it brings it back to life. I like the composition and subject matter though.
