Thanks Saad. It's strange that you liked this image so much, since in comparison with other photos on my portfolio it received very little attention...

best regards,

Ran

Nice shot. I like it better with out the barb wire...

Nice shot James. Although I would select the "lifeguard" sign as the focal point instead of the rocks in the front...

Thanks Randy for your comment. Indeed mountains tend to shrink in photos. This eastern Himalayan mountain is 5,596 meters (18,359 feet)high, and the shot was taken from a relatively low altitude area. I will upload several additional shots of this amazing mountain in the next few days, so stay in touch :-)

What's a tilt shift lens? Is it common to use those to take shots of mountains?

I guess you're right, Avi. Take a look at the next photo I've uploaded from this photo series and let me know what you think...

Yep. You're right, it's not the ocean, only the mediterranean sea, but "ocean series" sounds better...

Thanks for your comment Manuel. You're absolutely right. The top part of the flower is out of focus. It should have been in focus, but I thought it's still quite nice as it is. I liked the simplicity of the colors.

Thanks for your comment Luis. The border between Israel and Palestine is called "The Separation wall". Some of it is a real and high wall and the rest is made from electrical fences...

Nice pic. The other ones of those mountains were also great. I would lower the camera a bit in this one. I mean that more land and less sky would have make a better composition, or at least, that's my opinion.

Thies image is very nice but its digital quality is terrible. Did you scan it or something? You should re-scan it and save it in a better resolution and with much less contrast.

Wow! That piture should be the add for the Canon EOS 350D. It's perfect - the colors and the DOF. Nature deserves some cradit as well...

Nice symetry. Even the skies look symetric. A touch of colour would add, though.
