Oh please don't quit. There is no place else where I can see your fine work. It would be like losing a friend! I love this shot with its pale blue color. That would be my color if I were standing there!

It seems like all of life has withdrawn into the ground until it warms up. But still, wonderful curves and fine design.

Refreshing, isn't it? Nice patterns in the foreground and such a nice composition that leads our eyes around the shoreline. I, too, hope Dirck escaped the wrath of the storms.

I vaguely remember when the world was green and gold instead of gray and white. What a nice reminder. I really like how the tall tree leans to the right and the road curves to the left. I wish I could compose things as well!

I love the subtle colors in the sky. It's nice how that sandy line leads our eyes right back to that beautiful sky. So nice.

The lighting gives this such a look of mystery and power. From just the right angle too!

A wonderful scene. That ominous cloud makes even NYC look little. I think you composed it just right for the maximum effect.

What a wonderful mood you've created. I love those bands of color in the sky.

I know from bitter experience that this is one of the most difficult things we're called upon to do. But I'm also sure it was the right thing and there was a happy meeting somewhere. A sweet photo of a dear little friend.

What a gorgeous image. The rays rule! I hope you and your son and your dog and everyone else you know have the best holiday ever. And congratulations on completing your third year. You have been such an inspiration, setting a mark the rest of us can only dream of reaching. May this coming year be filled with joys, love and satisfaction for you!

What a wonderful accident. It looks like moonlight on a cold winter night. It could hardly have worked out better!

Just a flower but just gorgeous. Your carefully controlled depth if field is impressive. This is a prize-winner for sure.

I love your title. This is a wonderful shot, making art of what most find an annoyance. I don't find those lines the least bit distracting. They almost create a target-like effect for the aircraft streaking through the sky.

Beautiful shot. The figure is positioned perfectly in relation to the sun. There are two artists at work here; the major one is behind the camera!

Wonderfully sharp detail and a very nice S-shaped composition. These creatures can be viewed as funny-looking, but this one appears to have both dignity and a sober awareness. I think it's a very sympathetic shot. Sympathetic and sensitive.

I like how the vertical lines of the wall intersect the diagonal shadows. The sheep is so nicely positioned, anchoring the whole scene. Such nice work you do.

Magnificent! The exposure is just right for maximum impact and drama. And the composition is flawless. I wish I could do this well!

Great angle of view. I'm wondering if you climbed up into one of those trees so you could shoot down from up above. LOL. I like the transition from the light horses to the dark sky. The leaves floating on the clouds are really special. This deserves a 10 but I can only punch the 7 button.

Wonderful shot. The reflection, the perspective, the people - everything is really pleasing. It would have been nice in color too but the black and white makes it more dramatic. Very nice.

I'm so sorry to hear this. A lot people don't realize how very difficult it can be. It's like losing any family member. I wish the very best for you in these diffiuclt times.
