WOW! What a nice image of such an old classic! This is great! I haven't seen an image of a Tri-Motor in years.

Very nice, this image wouod not be permitted here in the USA, gee if we want to make a picture/photo of the security check points maybe we are looking how to defeat them... Your is good in that we have a sense of the traffic that passes through.

Thank you for the history lesson on such beautiful craft. As a sailor I knew at once what the image was. Today I feel privledged just to see a 12 meter yacht, this must be near wonderment.

Long ago I had to shoot a house in the dead of winter on a cloudy day. Just every photographer's nightmare, gray/overcast sky. So I decided to shoot at dusk and set up some tungsten lights and used tungsten film. The house looked fine as expected BUT the sky was to die for! Such blues and the clouds were just perfect. Ever since then I always shoot buildings at night/dusk with tungsten.

Your 3rd image is, to me, by far the best. Nice idea and execution on all three.

I have seen so many pictures of the Silver Bean but NONE like this! Extra points for creativity! This looks like it has a WB set for daylight, I would have liked to have seen it set to Tungsten. The sky would have been such a wonderful blue and the light closer to white.

OH so delicate! I love the rain drops. Nature's beauty is so much stronger than almost anything else. Very Nice job!

The DOF comes from the long lens used (300) and the wide apature (f2.8). It is not really a "macro" lens but just a long telephoto.

Rusting hulks make wonderful subjects. This is a classic! I had a friend who recently passed away who used to speczalize in just such images, mostly land based though. Nice job.

On a more technical note the image looks a bit over sharpened and could use a bit of a boost in the deep shadows. If you are using PSCS2 try the Shadow/Highlight tool.

WOW what a common, everyday flower that is so often overlooked, yet this makes a stunning image of Spring! Thanks!

Thank you both for your kind comments! The funny part is that I wouold have NEVER taken this lebns to shoot flowers, I would have taken one of my 2 macro lenses or maybe my 70-200. But a 300 seemed just too long, but when forced to shoot with that it worked well.

So very cute! My only suggestion would be to add some warmth. Try the shadow setting next time. The use of window light works well here! Nice job.

You are close but missed. You need to pay closer attention to details. For example, her bra strap is very distracting. Her pose is lacking any involvement/interest on her part. It has the look that she was told to go stand in the corner. Your exposure is not too far off, but to me looks a bit overexposed.

Gosh this is a wonderful image that misses because of poor exposure. The sailboat is totally washed out as are the rooftops. The water could have been almost black and this would have worked fine. I really like the angle/composition, it is a sailing scene you do not see.

This is a beautiful image that is nearly spoiled by slight over exposure. Try darkening it a bit and see if it isn't improved!

Have a look... Yours is slightly wider and shows more water which like better. Very nice job.

I love the color and note that you choose the perfect time of day to make this image. A couple critical comments, first it is tilted to the right; and second it looks soft. The softness might be the reduction in file size or it may be no tripod.

Vibrant colors, DOF a bit too shallow, but the crop spoils this for me. You are either too close or too far away. If you are going to crop into the edge of the petals then crop more so it doesn't look like a mistake.

Fisheye, humm, must have been run throught the NC unfisheye filter, there are no curved lines one gets form this lens.

Excellent! A couple questions, did you straighten the image? I am guessing the lighthouse would have been leaning in (looking up with wide lens). And how is this in color?

Exposure has spoiled this stunning image. The model dressed in white and standing in front of a white background is a difficult lighting task at best. Here we see what happens when the background is even a half stop too bright, as I think it it is here. You must light the subject seperatly from the background to make this work.

With images such as this it is little wonder why we city dwelling humand think polar bears would make playful, cuddly pets. Nice image!

Gosh at first I wanted to say your near sailboats are under exposed. But looking a 2nd or 3rd time they appear to be done fairly well! I like them in darkness. That combined with the stillness of the water give the feeling of home for the night! Very nice work.

Very nice Ray, close crop and good exposure. Flowers and sailboats are my favorite subjects for playing around. Nice job.
