This is a great composition. Wonderful light you have handled the exposure well. You are doing nice things with that wide lens.

This is so cool. The low viewpoint is nice. It's funny the ocean and waves remind me of the scenes seen on thunderbirds ...... i don't know why hahahahaha. Interested to know how you convert your Holga to take 35mm I'd be keen to try it myself.

At first I thought the composition may have been a bit busy but the more I looked at it the more I liked it. In fact the composition is one of the strong points of this image. For me the image has a strong sense of solitude ...... I can hear the silence and feel the solitude. Very nicely communicated.
Well done my friend

Haunting Adnan
Almost looks like a fantasy landscape. Fantastic composition and the hint sun on such a cold landscape is a great contrast.

Hi Dina
Thanks for your nice comment. Post processing was not that much really. First did the B&W conversion using a channel mixer adjustment layer. Adjusted the density with layer blending and did a bit of doging and burning. I added some grain on a separate layer and then finished off with a vignette. Hope that helps.
The image worked much better in B&W than colour.

I love the way you see things. Your vision is inspiring. How do you achieve your focus is the Nik 35PC like a perspective tilt and shift lens.

B&W was the right choice Roger. The lifelessness is kinda sad. An emotive image.

Hi Roger
Thanks for your decision. I agree the other does offer more hope. This for me feels lonelier which in turns heightens the sense of redemption that any hope may offer. It may not show in the image so well but it is how it makes me feel.
