Clive, I agree. I should have pushed the mids a bit. In the original I wanted to watch the highlights on the towel from getting blown out, but pushing the mids wouldn't affect that adversely. Thanks for the comments.

Thanks for the comment. I had one with his whole head but I chose this one because I wanted to focus in on the eyes and use a small DOF. I looked at a bunch of your photos as well. Very nice work. Thanks again.

As usual, great image! New camera? I've recently aquired a 30D as well. Are you enjoying it? Any likes/dislikes? I noticed you had an image shot with the 50mm f/1.8. What an awesome lens for the price. I enjoy your work a lot, you have beautiful children and thanks for the insight about the movie and C.S. Lewis. Thanks for sharing,

Steve

Very nice landscape. Did you add the vignetting or was that because of the lens used? Great work, great exposure and I love the lighting. Congrats!

Thanks for the info. I recalibrated my monitor last night and it made a huge difference. Here is a copy of the photo with a levels and curves adjustment. I made the adjustment yesterday as well but it came out muddy due to the lack of punch on my screen and the curves adjustment was made prior to placing in the frame so it didn't do much once cropped. Let me know if you like this better. I didn't go as dark on the wrist as you did... Steve

Well, I guess after reformatting and starting fresh with my PC I need to get some things calibrated. This photo is not near as dark on my screen as it appears once uploaded. I hope you still like it. Thanks, Steve

Hey John, I clicked F/18. and it says F/180. I have two shots that say that now. I'm not sure why. I don't think that's even on the list to choose from. So, it's not F/180. Thanks for taking a look. Steve

Very nice capture. Last time I went to shoot some photos of aircraft, I was asked to stop by a security guard. He told me he didn't mind, but someone would call the police and I would be questioned. What a wonderful world this has become. Again great capture. Congrats!

I desaturated the other flowers for emphasis on the subject due to the fact that it was a rather busy picture if not. Thanks for checking it out.
