There's a Miles Davis cd called Gondwana. It's part of a live show recorded in Japan. It's a free jazz or modern jazz piece, at times hectic and disorganized.

Kind of reminds me of that. Thanks for sharing.

1/125 and frozen wings on both birds (one in flight nonetheless), I don't think so, exif must be wrong or its a composite. Photoshop?
Great work regardless.

What kinda size print can you get on this Ian? I am just wondering if you blow any of these up, they look very detailed here in miniature, thats why I ask. I imagine these would look really good in big print.

Thank you! That's a beautiful shot. I don't mind the HDR on this one, really adds drama. If I were you I would approach the people from mellon bank, my guess is there is someone who works in that building who would LOVE a print. Maybe even enough to shell out some dough. :)
I also liked your Me and Saddam photo, thanks for the chuckle.

All rainbows are double rainbows, however this appears to be a supernumerary rainbow.

This reminds me of a Robert Frost poem, not sure why... anyways, this is really really cool (pun intended). I think the scratches almost make it look like the snow is in warp speed, blowing past the bird. The birds head seems disproportionate to the body, perhaps thats intentional, but it adds additional "mood" and I love it.
All the best,
