I used the macro function on my Coolpix, and layed on the floor as close as I could....... Then I used Photoshop to bring out the detail in the shadows.....

Good capture of the eyes... You can see that focus in the dog. It may be more like Anticipation....

By street photo standards this is an average image. The rich blackin both the shadow and photographer gives it some interesting tonal items to look at.

Texture... The first word that comes to mind. The grass and lighting angle combined produce a texture that is so crisp. I hardly notice the shade....
