For the most part, we had the park to ourselves. We really didn't have to worry about thieves so much since we were in the middle of nowhere. The washes that crossed the road every so often made this place practically remote except to those with 4 wheel drive and high vehicles. But this place is a gem and well worth the rough trip back to see it.

If possible, it would be great to go back a little later when the only thing left is skeleton! Still, the image has a strong story line behind it and elicits emotion, making it extremely effective in photography. Excellent work! 7++

I set up the camera, opened the shutter, and went off to bed. I set my cell phone to go off to get up and close the shutter. This was shot in our camp site while visiting Capitol Reef National Park. I have lots of pictures of this place!
