So I'm returning to find you've left....... booooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhooooooooooooooooooo!!
Not 'forever and everish' I hope, but I can't blame you for there are only so much hours in a day, as I am experiencing on a fairly regular basis... hence my own somewhat longer holiday leave. Yes, I indeed went to Venice and enjoyed every minute of it. Even my camera needs a rest now, for everywhere you look, there's a fine shot to be made. Will be keeping an eye out for you and hope you'll fair well/enjoy everything you do/have a great life/holiday... do what you want to do and go for it!!! L. and Gr. dear R2, PW!!

Why not try to (in camera or even afterwards) position your flower more to one side/not slap-bang in the middle. In this case I would crop 2/3 off the right side. It would make for a stronger/not so 'run of the mill' image... well at least that's MHO... ;-D

He sure looks the part this 'captain Peac ehm Pelican'... LOL!
Fantastic capture and spotted (humorous) scene!! Great in B&W with fine tones and super details... just look at his 'uniform' almost no feather missed/blown at that in bright sunshine... great!! And the diagonal composition/POV is excellent... very well done R2!!!

Sometimes blue doesn't equal bad, but as in this case beautiful...
Gorgeous little bloom, with super details and a wonderful light blue color... the two yellow stripes (Ray 1 and 2... ;-D) are a fine bonus... very well captured and cropped R2!!

Fabulous 'freeze frame' photo!!
Love the toning, focuses all the attention on the action which you caught so very well... also the addition of the face of 'the professional' in the background looking at Levi with amusement and admiration is great. Superb capture under difficult circumstances... for it must've been hard taking a pic when your gleaming with pride and smiling ear to ear (eyes tend to shut because of lack of facial room)... LOL!!
