I think your tones are way too flat here, Ang. Try playing with a curves adjustment layer, to get more contrast in your midtones...it will add roundness to their faces, much like your other photo of Grant...that one is perfect.

Great shot, Ang. Your tones look really good, and I love the setting. The arm and guitar cut off don't even phase me...irrelevent, in my eye. A reallly nice shot. (fwiw...I'm STILL trying to get used to that haircut! LOL)

Wow Pat...this made my heart skip a beat!! The tones are stunningly rich..beautiful. I can't help but feel terrified for her, as if something's chasing her...yikes! It's really haunting. Makes me wonder if lighter tones would totally change my perception of the image. Very compelling, well done!!

Her "Coat of many colors"...too cool. This spot is really perfect, Manda. Love how the trees frame her, and the gravel beneath her...leaves in the forground...really a wonderful spot!

She is my favorite of your models. She seems soooo very comfortable with you and your lens...I would imagine the two of you can communicate without even speaking. And as always, your lighting is intricate, delicate, and beautiful. A perfect, intimate portrait.

I have to tell you, David, I'm not always a huge fan of the lensbaby...but in the right hand...well, it's just plain cool. I love the sense of movement it evokes in this image...leaves me to imagine what he's up to. I like it alot, and it looks like you're having fun, too.

I'm just cracking up, after reading the guy's comment about cutting off her boot!!!!!!!!! Too dang funny! Who gives a rat's a** about the bottom of her boot, when you've got impeccable tones engulfing that angelic face...the pose...the outfit...the hat...THAT FACE! Give me a break! This photo should be in a book. Period.
