I just got lucky on this one. I was walking off the field, then turned and fired with 1 hand no less... ;)
As with most of my shots, this was a spur of the moment kind of thing. I get the best shots without thinking at all. I call it "Zero Based Thinking".
Go figure? LMAO!

Well we were talking about med's last night and the idea just popped into my little head. I used the white reflector with the PVC stand I made a few weeks back, just to cover up the chair and other background noise, but had no clue it would come out so dark?
That old gear reminds me of you. Sort of like a Timex commercial they did and the catch fraise was:
"Takes the Licking and Keeps on Ticking"...

I hate bee's and I had to get way to close with that macro lens. I did however enjoy the results. I have long since trade that one in for a 100mm macro to give me a little more breathing room... hehehe

Well I'll cheer up this lonely shot with a comment. I really like what you did with the print you showed me Thursday night at the shoot. This seems a little dark in the detail of the wreckage? Might be my monitor, but I just got the new one last week and put the SpiderII on it, so I doubt it?
Perhaps a lower POV, while shooting it and cropping with the lens on the top a little harder might have brought it out more?
Did you get any award winning shots Thursday? I only shot 55 frames, which is not like me, but I wanted all the rookies to get their time in.
All in all, I do like this post but the print is awesome.
