heheheh.. i think i'd like it better without the face in the background but i guess it would conflict with your concept.
i like the shot very much though

heheh... love this shot.... it's so simple.. and the way the light fades as u move away from the centre into the black background....
you have a great portfolio.. what amazes me the most is that you started in '03
bravo! :)

lovely... like the sharpness of the strings and how your photo makes the diff materials contrast.. ad the fact that he's tuning the guitar rather than the traditional playing-the-guitar shot
very nice

congratulations on the well deserved double award... great lighting, composition and most of all the texture is amazing. it looks almost like a 3d rendering (cuz u have such control over the lighting and texture of everything:) )
well deserved indeed

i like the flexibility of the photo, it allows you to imagine what you want. like imagine that those are misty clouds and two mountain tops in some kind of fairytale... and two hobbits will be passing through in a small boat!
great shot and congrats on the award

heheheh.. comic photo
could be used as a cover for a book
love the composition and the combination of the see-through glass and the blurry glass, making the face anonymous.
love it!
congrats on the award

great angle and composition, could've done without the purple swimming stuff on the right though. the book is a very nice touch and the colours of the guitar and the floor go together well.
i think the shining sun isnt perfect but i cant decide what to do about it! maybe if you'd waited until it went behind the trees it would've been nice and the sunset tones would've done well with the scene but you would've had to compromise the shadows cast on the guitar (which are a good touch). also cropping it out would be a bad idea cuz then you'll remove half the trees (which are good for the composition) and there's a risk of being monotonous.
anyways, i like your stuff. i think you've got an edge, and that you just need some practice...
sorry for not giving a solution, i need some practice myself!

oh, and i dont agree about cutting off the upper part. i especially liked the grading and change of colour, otherwise it would have been a bit monotonous..

excellent abstract, ahmad. i like this one the most in your 'forks' seires the bluish tone gives it a calmer feel. great depth of field. i think i'll add it to my faves!

hey shaimaa,
very good perspective shot, cery well done!!
i have two comments on it..
the first would be the objects forming the composition, for me it's a little hard to link plates and a ladder - so you kinda get the message that it was organised.. i dont know if this is right or wrong actually but, personally, i prefer things to look natural, like you found them that way (even if it was you who put them together bardo)
the second, i think it is a tinge over-exposed. you can see that in the ladder on the top left of the picture. the details are burnt sinna..
overall i think it's a very good shot (begad wallahi) and keep experimenting. i've seen the rest of your portfolio, you have a good eye.
keep on shooting!
