Bellissima la contrapposizione tra il volto etereo ed il nero che tenta di avvolgerlo....

*sigh* Such a handsome lil' fella. what a perfect way to represent innocence. I love what you've done here. The composition and post processing are superb. Excellent clarity, detail and mood. Makes you wonder what he is thinking about. This one screams to be blown up really big Bek!!!!! I can't put in to words just how awesome this is. Now it's Onies turn to wax poetic about this one (she'll shoot me for that I am sure)

Hi Mick,
Welcome to the Kodak P850... a great little camera.
The grid feature I mentioned is actually a grid I use in the program called Photoshop, or PS for short... and not something I activated on the camera unfortunately.
I took this picture, and the horizon was not level, so I straightened in the post-production editing.

I would really like to find out how to activate the 'grid' feature on my Kodak P850. You wrote about it:
"...I have only just now found the 'grid' feature on my ps..."
I am not a native English speaker. What do you mean by "ps". Is it a different camera made by Panasonic?

A great shot in many ways, both artistically and Technically. reminds me of a shot I took a while ago, back home in Penzance, as attached.

Hello there miss Beks. Is that young Douglas you chucked in the hole? Ive been away too, with Benjamin having his accident the camera went on the back-shelf (with the exception of coming out to take photos of his wounds) but now I'm phasing myself back in.
After about three months of tossing up between three courses I've ended up picking the same one as you, so you'll hafta email me and let me know how you're going with it! I'm waiting for my first package to come next week sometime...
Does this shot have a touch of retro effect o it or was that the coloring of the area? Either way its come out great, very well spotted.

This is outstanding, Beks. The key to the visual candy here is the gentle arc that draws the eye to wrap around the image. Love the texture and the quirky color shift.

Great to 'see' you Awww... well I keep getting asked to shoot weddings, and I don't have the technical knowhow to deliver what I would expect as a bride, so I have enrolled in a course to get me some help hehehe.
Also, tomorrow the postie should be delivering me my external flash unit and battery-pack, so I am well chuffed!
