Anne, this image has a certain softness, romance, and promise in it. I like the muted colors. Although I've looked at it numerous times since you posted it last year, for the first time today I noticed the lovely diagonal line formed by the buttons.
It would be wonderful if you could post again...I miss your work!

Very Nice Anne!
I like the DOF in this one alot. It gives a feeling of depth. The only thing I'm not too sure about is the cloth that blurred in the bottom right of the frame. That sort of invades the petals a bit. Other than that, I can see this one on a card somewhere!

Well Anne I am glad I stumbled upon your portfolio. You have wonderful eye for detail and your creativity is obvious...in this photo I see the image I would love to have conceived. I think it is soft in places and could use a different lighting scheme but this idea is superb anyway. I look forward to seeing more of your work. BTW, I am putting this into my favorites so I can come back and visit it occassionally.

Interesting image. Great color and composition. I am not sure about DOF. Could be done with f/16, f/22 and treated latter in Dream Suite for dreamy effect.

This is very nice.. looks so soft and I can almost smell them all there... You may want to crop the top left edge to rid the shot of that little white area.. my eye is drawn to it every time for some reason.. Great shot though.

beautiful and subtle shallow depth of field effect. i love the natural monotone effect. Nature is beautiful when dressed in its more somber shades...if only we take the time to appreciate it. i think though, if you name the image "grasshopper" the narrow focus should have been on him and not the plant head that he's on. Very tough to predict these things, i know and the fact that he's slightly soft doesn't detract from my enjoyment, just that it would have been that much better had he been the point of focus. The best thing with the morning news...
Great idea Anne I like the greys a lot and the way the newspaper makes a busy background for the flower. It makes it look so out of place.
