Simple with great texture... I really love the tones in this one. I wish there was a bit more space on the left so that the bike wasn't so squished against the frame though.

Delightful flower portrait, Chris. The colors are crisp as are the stamens. Have you considered cropping in a vertical format? I'm a teeny bit distracted that the petals are fully shown in one direction but not the other. I'm not even sure distracted is what I mean. Unbalanced?
Heck, I'm unbalanced most of the time, so maybe that's my own fault.

Nice one, Chris. I like the technique of having the foreground so very obviously unfocused. I've been shooting a lot of floral portraits here in Colorado, and I am glad to use the inspiration I glean from your shot. Very creative. Take care.:)

The house has finally sold and closed. We're moving to Colorado mid-May.
