Ummm I am not sure which photo you are comparing to. But I really like the interaction between the rock, water and the wave washed sand. It may just be me, but the washed out sky throws me off just slightly. Very nice photo nonetheless.

THis is so much like a fairy tale princess picture. Pink, feathers, long hairs, beautiful eyes etc etc...I love this.
The model looks like one of the actress from India who once was crowned Miss World.

Very nice progressive toning out away from her face. As a video producer, I'm not fond of lens flare (spend a lot of time making sure there is NONE on a shoot) but I like this treatment!

Beautiful picture, Karen! Crisp and icy.
I like the lens flare effect. I've experimented with it lately, and I very much like the artificiality of it.

i think the costume,model and light(did you add the light effects afterwards?)is very good
but maybe the background could be a different color as contrast to the dress.

Gorgeous photo Karen, may be improved a little in photoshop by rotating the photo more clockwise to keep the buildings vertical. But I still think it is fabulous :-)
