Jymmie, What a wonderful shot! I love your choice of composition, not your same-old-same-old centered flower. The lighting is also perfect, I like the way you used it to add just a hint of shadow. And as, John said, the black bg evokes a sense of depth, as well as setting off the white. Good work, I look forward to see more of your work.

I like this shot, your model looks very relaxed, your composition is excellent, as is the lighting and dof. I personally like the weeds, they add to the overall "outside weathered" look. I'm also very partial to the way the water peeks out from under the wooden structure in the lower right corner, it's a nice touch.

Well lit and composed shot of a pretty girl. My inclination is to crop out the bottom 'weedy' part, and perhaps turn it into a square format. If you do PS, you might want to then clone out the intruding weeds. All thats of course just my opinion. How you like it is really what matters.

Jimmye,
It is always a rare pleasure to see one of your works. I will be passing through your city this week on my way to Pella.
Anyhow, I like the golden warm tones and the slight softenss of this image - gives it the appropriate Christmas dreaminess. The DOF is nice although I wonder if it is a tad too shallow - I wonder if a stepping the aperature up one step would be nice. I also sort of wish there was just a smidgen more of the ornament that is peeking in on the lower right -I think the color of the ball would be nice.
Nother major to complain about, just a couple of thoughts.
