Yes, you're right Richard, it could have been a subject as well so nicely achieved by Diana Wiersna!

I totally coincide in all aspects with the well detailled points written above by Jim McNitt (thank you Jim by the way, it's 2nd time) : having done myself some empiric B&W lab in the past, I understand all the cleverness you've used in order to achieve such excellent photographic composition. ? ? ? And with you Richard, ...blunt I shall be : Well done! Charles (again)

Sorry, but on the contrary with the others, I didn't "stick" to this collage; (for once!) Something to do with the 'wet effect'I guess.

Richard, Nice presentation, good framing and exposure, not too sharp in respect of this delicate floating subject, pecfect balance in tones : all this make a gret picture. (signed: the hidden frog) )}<<

Reply to Jim McNitt's above comment : "you said it, Mate!" I totally agree with you, and I easily recall this famous song. What a 'nitty-gritty' comment you wrote, Jim (with your Mac?)!

"Out of tune?"
I just regret that the trombone and valve-trombones are cut. A square picture would have allowed a better framing, if I may say so.

What a 'glowing' space...I must visit Westernbert next spring! You have captured the contrast of light and shadow so well and it gives the whole landscape such depth.... very inviting! Best regards...Steve

Hello Richard What a beautifully rich, romantic landscape. the composition is perfect; as is the light, they both combine to emphasise the depth and beauty of those Somerset hills and the rich colours of the foreground contrasts so well against the blue receding light. And what an elegant shape created by that horse! Good luck with the extention work....!
