Hi Andrej, sounds like this plant has some strange names.
Its Latin name is I believe Sempervivum. I have a large pot of these in my garden. Ths shot was taken from above the pot at f/3.5 not f/7.0 as it gives above. In the middle ages they were put on the roofs of buildings to ward off lightning and witchcraft. I'm not sure how well they worked. :-)
We can certainly keep in touch in the future.
Regards,
Graham.

well I think we could stay in touch from time to time.... It is nice to be among you...
We call this flower VELIKONOCNICA - BIG NIGHTER in English. I like it a lot; The flower and as already said the image too.

Thanks Jimmy glad you like it. Think I just sort of drifted away from this site to another in Australia. I was after constructive criticism which I didn't seem to get much of here. Anyway I'm back.
The flag threw me for a while as my details were still correct. I found out eventually that the US flag is the default if a flag is not selected. There were no flags when I was here last so I hadn't selected one.

Nicely done Graham. I like the details in this shot.

Where have you been? It has been almost a year since your last post. You are not this side of the pond are you? The location on this shot shows the U.S.

Color and composition are great. The shadows and water look spooky, looking for a monster to pop into the photo....................Opal

The patterns and colours here are awesome Graham. If I just look without focussing on a particular aspect it's as though I'm being drawn down a tunnel. Marvellous effect.
