Dude!

Congrats to both of you!

That sure is a spiffy front yard man. A bit of a blue cast but no biggy.

I like this, I like the setting and the atmosphere of the night life. Too bad there were'nt any more lights on in the buildings. I think it would have brought it out a little bit more. Congrats...

BEAUTIFUL!!!! I've not seen from this angle before. I like your image a LOT!! Wonderful clarity and composition, nice colors as well.

This image shows all the 'busyiness' in NY, it truly is delightful!

Very nice work,
Lori

Thank you, Steve. Yes, I can get you a print made if that's what you're interested in. The original is a sharp slide, and enlarges well. Let me know what size you are interested in, and I can get some prices for you.

You can email me at Stephen@usefilm.com

Thanks for all the comments, folks!

Hey, this is a great picture !
I work at a local college and have been looking for a picture of Chicago
to hang in my class. Is this image for sale ?

I, too, like the perspective. In it, you capture the grandness of the environs, in all their sopping glory...

water is good...

Very nice perspective indeed. I'm with Jeff about the sky but its still a rock-solid image. Nice piece of work with a lot depth and three dimensionality to it.

This is one of the reasons I love the Pacific Northwest...all that lush green is so incredible. I like the perspective on this one.

Very cool perspective Stephen but you have to expose for the sky for something like this. F2? Thats alot of light comin in man. Cool quickie though nonetheless

Stephen, this remains one of my favorite shots of yours...or is it the crescent moon over Chicago...both are really wonderful. I've enjoyed looking through your portfolio recently.

Nice texture study Stephen. I also like that you kept the colors strong but moderated. No need for a psychedelic assault on the viewer's senses. I also like how you played with the DOF to get the blur through the length of the railing. Very nicely done. Good to read your words, by the way. Hope all is well. Perhaps we can all gather for Christmas beverage in the next several weeks.

No Christmas lights Jeff, just the end of growing season for Morning Glory vines.

I was trying for the "Alisa" perspective, but didn't quite get it. The brick is recently tuckpointed, but the roof is about 12-15 years old.

Pretty much a test shot with this new digital, trying to learn what it can do. I'll get there sooner or later.

Thanks, Jeff.. {;-)

Interesting perspective here. I thought for a second you were one of those people who left the christmas lights up all year! New roof? Those 3 tabs look to be in good shape as does your masonry

great angle on this cityscape...i love how you have it positioned so the roads come to a v at the bottom...for the keystoning of the buildings there is a wonderful and easy technique to fix this in PS...email me if you would like the info
