WOW that yellow tone really give me a warm feeling about this place. It really catches your eyes and find the composition does it part. Keep up the great work.

Very beautiful, James, the "distortion" works well here. I agree with your preference for "straight" images, but it pays to be flexible!

Hello Gerry:
Thank you for the comment about the waterfall. Here is another taken at a faster shutterspeed. As in just about ALL of the photographs I make I use the "Bracket" system, taking different f-stops and shutter speeds.

Dear James,

I love waterfalls and this one is very interesting. I like your composition.

Perhaps an increased shutter-speed would get this composition a special touch.

Anyway, great work.

Regards, Gerry

Thank you Neil for your comments on my photograph of "Foggy Lane". The muted colours you see I had nothing to do with - this is the way I photograph. I try NOT to really do anything to my finished product as it would NOT be Natures Way. I try to stay out of the way of Nature and let it go on it's merry way. Being an observer is quite enough. Besides, I am Red-Green // Blue Purple color-blind - so it woulod not make much sence to tamper with colors. ;-))

Thank you Patrick for your resent comments on my photograph of "Foggy Lane". The reason I did NOT have the light "hit the street" was two fold. One (1) was the time - if I did wait till the pight hit the street the fog would have been gone -- and Two (2) I wanted to show that we are only "passing through" this world -- Nature IS forever.
James.

Great Capture James. I bet you were pretty excited when you saw this. I know I would. Too bad the rays weren't hitting the street instead. Still a great magical shot that you have captured. Keep up the good work

Wonderful shot - I love minor league baseball.

The poses of all three - batter, catcher, umpire - are just classic, and make a nice line across the frame. There's something eternal about baseball, and I think you've captured it.

Great picture. Would work in b&w too. Great composition but can't make my mind up about the power lines. They are distracting but follow the line of the smoke billowing from the locomotive. Very clever.
