Great use of lighting to highlight her face and add mystery - a film noir effect. Excellent portrait. It might be too 'film-like' but a filter to soften the image might be interesting.

I like the contrast, from bright tones in your subject to the darker tones in the background. This is a nicely executed image. The eye is always drawn to the light, and nowhere is that more important than in black and white images. Good job!
I also like your choice of framing. It really adds to the image's overall apeal.
