Good thought. I don't know, to be honest. It came off a site advertising "Free Desktop Wallpaper", here:

http://www.wallpaperdesktop.eu/

("Night Sky, Aganippe")

This is awesome!
Well done, indeed!
It would have been nice to mention the Artist's name in your "About" as a credit to her/him.
Regards,
Mitra

They say you can never go home again. Just this past year, I've been frequenting the area that I grew up in as a kid too. It's funny how some little things have remained exactly the same as they were when I walked to school in the 60's and other parts of the area are unrecognizable. There is heavy nostalgic feeling associated with images like this one. Similar to the Dairy Queen image you posted earlier. I mentioned American Graffiti last time. This time I will say it reminds me of "The Last Picture Show"

Oh, they're there, alright. I was sitting across the street and had to wait for breaks in traffic to get the shot

Cheers,

Thanks, Andre. It is an entry for a camera club competition with the theme "Song and Artist" so I wanted this title anyway :-]

Beautifully done Jon,
It reminds me of my "Lost Boys" images a few months back.
Too bad, I already stole that title. ;)

My thought exactly, although water skiing becomes a bit problematic. The motor is completely silent. My nephew started it at one point and took us in a lazy circle, and my only sense of movement was that the moon started drifting across the sky. It was a bit disorienting for a moment!

Simple and effective Jon, just like the little boat and motor. Who needs a 200hp bass boat anyway?

The only bad things were the number of hangovers suffered by the overindulgers of the night before, of which this writer was, fortunately, not one. :-]

Hi Jon,
Exquisite is a word not often used to describe an ant. But, you are right.
You know, It's funny, when I was younger, I wouldn't think twice about stepping on ants or bugs. Now my wife laughs at me when I yell at her for squishing them on purpose. I guess I'm getting soft in my old age.
