Thx Keith. I had (and sometimes still) lots of doubt wether the description is appropriate or not. War, or suggestion of war, isn't fit for mockery and the comment wasn't ment to suggest that, but it still upset people.

Yeah Keith, it takes kids of your own to fully realize what one's parent must have been through....

She's not the only one who forgot snow.. if weather continue like this, i'm goin' to forget snow also :-( still, i can remember winter, real winter and snow for Christmas and New year..
great photo, i like dogs a lot, this one is Dalmation dog, and it always remind me on Dalmatia where i come from :-)

Wonderful shot Sam. when i left home, i never saw my family for years at a time. Now i have a son away only for a few weeks and worry. I think back how terrible it must have been for my parents. Didnt have the ways of contact then. Wrote a letter every now and then. Hang in there and enjoy the pics she sends you. Cheers. Keith

Great colors and reflections. I like the sense of humor even after having spent time in Nam. War is not the answer, but we must live each day to the fullest. these colors and setting are great.. the planes were just passing through.

Nice shot of the windmill Sam - we don't have them so much like this so they are very intriquing to me - I do like the magpie as well as the person standing and people riding rheir bike --- nice colors and qualiity !!
