I truly like this composition...as it fantastically presents the age of confusion we are inhabiting!

A good one again, Marcio! Not as strong in contours and magnificent gradients as on many of your other images, but still good work.

I would expect a bit more details on some of the darker regions, but I guess that you had to have less exposure for letting the sparks look as vivid and bright over a darker background.

I also wonder if a stronger close-up cpuld be better hier. Only the worker and the sparks or perhaps also only his hands and the sparks??

Cheers!

Nick

And what a trap it is! A trap for my eye which thinks it found a way out of this labyrinth, and a clear perspective to the background... and though everything seems so clear, it still puzzles me. Very string lines and sense for (twisted??) perspective here, Marcio! The darker tones of the structure seem to enhance that very strongly too. I don't know for sure if the part out of focus in the foreground does good or bad, but I do think that it also puts a vague sign of additional strength of directedness here.

Cheers!

And I saw a great image, as almost always, full of good details and strong sense for plasticity, but this time also with that kind of reduced DoF that anhances very well a scene of a view-master 3D-image. The face of the elf is... real! I can not only see ot but I can touch it too on your extremely well balanced exposure. The nicely fitting colors of the palette add a note of woods and forest, exactly as the carefully arranged scene seemed to demand.

BTW... did you ever thing of going for 3D-photography with such scenes? I mean the two images with slightly shifted perspectives, each of them for one of the eyes? I think you could do that extremely well.

Cheers!

Nick

Estas no teu melhor ambiente quando tens a maquina fotográfica contigo. Como chamam a estas feiras no Brasil? Aqui - flea marquet e em Portugal penso que chamam feira da ladra.

the kinds are great of course (kids are)
the spoecial bit is the sense of scale here and where the ground is, the footballer is walking on air to my eyes. Fab.
plenty to see here, even the wobbly wire and fence line is amusing.

Good point Ania
You're right .. Here in Brazil is rare these species ..
We have Saci, Mule Hollow .. and other strangers, but not troll or elves.
I do not fully understand these things. Thank you..
