A very nice composition, I like the black in the upper left corner and the gaze to the lower right with the peacock feather background. The gaze and eye lashes add a nice mystique. Very nice image

Thank you for your comments...I just have to take what I can get. Had I set up a shot, my opportunity would be gone. The poor thing was scared to death, good thing my scope was not lethal.

I like the fact that the camera is almost at the eye level of the deer... though those pine branches on his face are a tad bit distracting. But then, that makes the shot interesting :)
