Dear Mary, I don't remember exactly but I think I was browsing photos and I followed back to your portfolio from an interesting comment you had made - I often find it's a good guide to how thoughtful and serious a photographer is. I like many of your pictures, but this one seemed very poetic. It's a pity you have stopped posting them here - do you use another gallery site?
I would be interested to know what you think of my photos - I understand there may be some cultural differences and I hope you will not be offended by them.

Just as snow blankets the landscape and allows us to dream of perfection, so the bright sunlight dazzles us to feel we are in paradise. Of course we are not - but perhaps we can dream a little longer...
