Hey Rachel! Thanks for the nice comment! Yep this one's pretty gross close up - it was a cloudy day so the lighting sorted itself out, as for DOF - well my old nikon manual focus macro was spot on - they don't make them how they used to!

Wow, awesome shot! I hate spiders, and close up they are pretty gross too - but I absolutely love this! You did an excellent job with this: the lighting, coloring, DOF, it's all just incredibly well done! :)

I have seen some amazing things you can do with your 20D.For me i want to upgrade my alpha 200 to 40D or 50D but I don't know if there's a big different between those 2. can u give me some advice? thanks!
