I think like you do Anthony. "I was very lucky"
So many of my own images are just that....sort of. If you stayed at this location from dawn till dusk observing the light, you would be gifted with an image this impressive. You were at the right place at the right time. But you personally chose the best lens and composition. Most people do volume. You know, snap a shot here and there as some sort of documentation of their travels. To take a really good photograph, it requires both the skill to make the best photographic decisions, but also the patience to wait 'till the time is right. You did, and you were rewarded. Very nice work Anthony. ...and by the way............. stop taking my fog shots! haa haa! ;)

I would imagine that this lady that has been a lady that has lunched all her life..a nice capture, however I would have liked to have seen her features if only to find that she has had some help along life's way,if she has, then good for her. I would name the capture an enigma in denim:)

Hi Anthony,
I just ran across this shot flipping through pictures. Very nice! I like the de-saturation leaving the windows and a few splashes of color here and there. Very neat effect. I hope you worked up the nerve to get some shots from inside the dome!
Thanks for sharing, Richard

Lound Hello, I got a translator in order to understand better:) I see a strong contrast caused by light and dark which ended with the day. Técinca This leaves the medieval castle with a dark and sinister atmosphere. Congratulations, Marcus

They need a new image category "from a moving bus" hee hee. I like this one. Would have been nice to get off the bus to shoot for an hour, then catch the next one.

I have the same sensibilities as you, I've lost so many great images because I haven't the gall to go and ask because I think they'll see me as voyeuristic. And of course most people don't see themselves in the same aesthetic light as a photographer might. There's immense sadness in this image. Regards, Gary

By coincidence, as I write this I'm sitting next to a woman with bright red hair, but she's in her 20s, and in a university. I sometimes visit nursing homes for work and see the residents listening to Val Doonican etc - does this mean in 50 years time nursing homes will be pumping out Eminem at max volume? Just a thought. Bt the way, good image, even without the face. Regards, Gary

The grain seems to work better on the building than on the sky, I can believe the building was shot with TMAX (looks like 3200 though)but overall this is a much better version IMHO. I must try these film-like plugins myself. Regards, Gary
