About This image series was shot over at Golden Gardens Park near my home in Ballard.

This image (1819) was slightly cropped, resized and shrunk for upload, and I adjusted the brightness (+15) and the contrast (+10). No other PS work.

The background carries my luxagraphic painterly strokes while my subject remains clear. I post this image to show some of the potential of working with this kind of photography.

Questions and comments are always wecome.

Yes,I think the setting of the camera had to set freely and limitless as you neglecting it's manual, it's photograpy dear James,I admire your way copletely--usual photographer as I cannot.

Khaled - Thank you. I will work hard toward the high standard which your Blues series has set.

James Cook   {K:37604} 6/18/2006
Yutaka - I am happy that you are enjoying my Luxagraphic images. I have many more to post. Thank you.

Flash at the end...? 1/25 is not all that slow, is it. Oh heck, nevermind, I'm still floored over the fact that your compact can go down to ISO 50!

James Cook   {K:37604} 6/19/2006
Rina - Nope, no flash. The solidity of her head has more to do with geometry than light. The motion of the camera moves out as an angle. Close objects that angle lacks significance; far objects are more dramatically moved.

Yeah, I was kinda stunned by the ISO 50 thing myself. For a point-and-shoot, this is a great camera.

ciao James,
posso scriverti in italiano?

Quanto a luce...

Grazie e ciao.
